This two cabin Hunter 340 is in terrific shape, shows light use and is very well equipped. Magic offers a perfect blend of sailing performance, comfort, and affordability. In mast furling, air conditioning, 2006 updated Raymarine electronics, a never used spinnaker, and only 189 hours on the Yanmar are key features. All spiffed up and ready to go, Magic is a good value at this price. You won't find a nicer better equipped 340.
Accomodations and Layout:
On deck the 340 is easily single handed but with room for a big crowd. She features Hunter's large "oval" cockpit with a walk through transom, swim platform with shower and two large transom storage lockers, and stern rail seats trimmed in teak. The helm is impressive with a large instrument pod with the C80 chartplotter/radar display, cockpit table, drink rack, and ice box. Three additional cockpit lockers make it easy to store your gear. All sail controls are right at hand with cabin top mounted main halyard winch, and primary jib winches. The main sheet and traveler controls are easily managed from the helm via Hunter's unique stainless steel arch.
In the cabin below Magic offers cruising comfort and accommodations for seven. Forward is the v-berth with two hanging lockers, and a stand up dressing area. A bulhead and bi-fold door separate the forward cabin from the main saloon. Following aft to port is the convertible U shaped dinette opposite a straight starboard settee. Further aft to star board is a well apportioned nav station with a teak desk and a large hanging locker, followed aft by the enclosed head with hot & cold shower and good headroom. Aft of the dinette to port is the L shaped galley and large aft owner's cabin featuring a large storage locker, stand up headroom for dressing and a queen sized athwartships berth with good light and an open feeling overhead. Fore to aft is a teak and holly sole. Terriffic lighting via numerous ports and hatches and the Hunter "windshield" and a great layout make this an enormous 34 footer.
